On the unfortunate side, the Dr. mentioned scheduling his hemi-fontan in 6 weeks :( that's so soon and he will be 4 1/2 months old. I knew the minute he told us that every day til the surgery, I will find myself bawling my eyes out at least once a day. It's a bummer that he has to go thru this, but if he didn't he wouldn't be here with us today.
I will receive more detail about his surgery plan tomorrow so keep an eye out!

oh my gosh, he's SO stinkin cute!! I'm sorry to hear about the surgery so soon :( I think it will be the same for Dylan.... his cardiologist told me that they like to do the second surgery in between 3 and 4 months old! yikes! so fast! But I guess its better to get it over with? I think about you and Daylen every day! I hope he continues to have a good day and night. Hang in there girl! <3
ReplyDeleteHe is so cute. I know how you feel about finding out the date for the Glenn...I spent a lot of time crying too. Hope has so little hair that we get 'what a cute little guy'...even when she is decked out in pink.
