You don't know me but I find you sons story and your blog an inspiration! My name is Erikah Daley-Parrish. I found your blog while looking for a blog my husband David created for our son Daylen. Our son suffers from Sickle Cell Disease. Like your son who has the same name he has had to fight for life at an early age. I just wanted to say that thank you for sharing your story and giving me the courage to share mine. As I am sure you know being the mother of an infant with serious medical needs is one of the most heart breaking and helpless feelings. I will pray for your strength as I pray for mine.
